I am very proud of all the nice comments we receive about how easy it to communicate with us here at Details by DiFranco.

We actually go through great lengths to make sure when you have a question, you will get an answer very quickly. For instance, when the office is closed, our office phones forward all calls to a mobile phone that travels with one of us and it’s always answered (within reasonable hours).

We are pretty crazy about checking email throughout the day. If we hear the computer make a “ding” sound, we’ll respond right away. Try it out sometime.

Also, if you see the “Ask Live” button and it says “online” on the left side of the page, you can click on that button to reach us right away. It may not be the most reliable way because sometimes it says available when we’re not but it’s worth a try.

Save your Cake.

I received a great tip the other day from one of the cake designers with Jacques Cakes, about great way to preserve your wedding cake top. First you freeze the cake on a cooling rack for about six hours, after that you wrap the cake about five times with plastic wrap then seal it in with press and seal wrap. Now I haven’t tried this method, however, it has been reported back by a few different clients that the cake tasted just as good a year later as it did on their wedding day. This cake was from a wedding at Atkinson Country Club.

Miss Auburn New Hampshire pageant was held at Pinkerton Academy on the 23rd of February ‘08 and contestants are one more step closer to the coveted Miss America crown coming up soon.

Miss Weirs Beach 2008, Justine Barker

When Justine showed up at the studio

Saturday she sported purple sweats, Uggs, curlers, and a great smile. As soon as I met her I knew we were going to have a great session. She has an excellent sense of humor that kept both of us laughing during her photo session. These are some of our favorites from her session.

Engagement Session Adventure

This was an experience to enjoy. This morning we found ourselves hiking up the slippery side of Gibbet Hill for a memorable engagement session experience. Amy and Matt have such a warm personality, and it’s a good thing because it was cold up there! Gibbet Hill is located in beautiful Groton MA. They offer a beautiful reception hall, authentic European old world charm and possibly the finest country views in New England.
